A.T. Law is particularly recognised by clients for providing confidential, strategic UK employment law advice to SMEs, large UK corporations, multi-nationals, professional partnerships, senior executives, directors and employees at all levels.
Our employment law practice focuses primarily on delicate and confidential employment issues such as termination of employment of employees at all levels of industry including directors and senior executives involved in board room disputes, internal HR investigations and disciplinary matters, advising on strategy and employment arrangements and disputes in general. We also regularly advise senior executives and employers in relation to all aspects of contractual matters including appointments to company Boards and senior executive exit arrangements for board level directors and employees.
We deal in all other aspects of employment law including defending employment tribunal claims, discrimination issues, management of team moves and issues concerning restraint of trade.
We are regularly consulted by corporate clients on all aspects of The Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations (“TUPE”). TUPE is a complex piece of legislation based on the E.U. Acquired Rights Directive (“ARD”). In a TUPE context we advise, for example, on consultation with staff and Works Councils, outsourcing situations, off shoring of services and the potential consequences arising from a TUPE transfer including potential redundancies and litigation.
We frequently assist HR departments and business managers at all levels in the day-to-day issues faced by their businesses.
We are consulted by partners from various sectors including partners from law firms, dental practices and medical practices regarding their exit arrangements. |
